Somehow the saying that mothers know best has always been true for me.

My mother has known everything about me even without me saying a word.

I am good at keeping secrets. Kept a couple for years and years to come. But somehow she always figures them out.

My mother has been there always. I love her for that. I cherish her every day because one day she won’t be here. One day I’ll lose her the way she’s lost hers.

My mother is my best friend at times. We joke around and she gets ”cooler” as I age. Now that I am 22, I listen to her way more than I did as a teen.

Her advice means the world to me. Her support means the world to me. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my mother.

Yes, I admit, there were times everything she said went through one ear and out the other. But at the end of the day, she was always right.

Hope to be at least half the mother she is one day. A mother who worked hard and was with my siblings and I every step of the way. She instilled how important an education is in all of us.

I love you mom. Had to write about this wonderful woman today.
